Participation in the OBHost Affiliate Program is solely for the purpose of
lawfully promoting OBHost services and earning commissions on sales generated through valid referrals. By registering as an Affiliate, you agree to comply with this Affiliate Policy and the
Terms of Service.
The OBHost Affiliate Program is open to individuals and businesses worldwide who wish to promote OBHost services through legitimate marketing channels.
- Participation in the program is solely to legally advertise OBHost and its partner services and to receive commissions on sales generated through referrals. By registering, you agree to receive program-related emails.
- Registration as an Affiliate constitutes your full acceptance of this Affiliate Policy, the Terms of Service, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Affiliate accounts with inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable contact information will not be approved. Provide your legal name, valid email, functional phone number and real physical address.
- You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to participate in the Affiliate Program.
- An Affiliate account is linked to an OBHost billing account. Suspension of one may result in suspension of the other.
- OBHost reserves the right to approve or deny any Affiliate application at its sole discretion. Typical approval time is 24–48 hours.
- OBHost reserves the right to suspend an Affiliate account at any time based on violations of the Terms of Service or this Affiliate Policy.
- OBHost reserves the right to determine if an Affiliate's website is unsuitable for the program — including (but not limited to) content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, discriminatory, or inconsistent with OBHost's brand values.
- The Affiliate may not use the OBHost trademark as part of any domain name, subdomain, social media handle, or app identifier.
- Affiliate accounts referring a high volume of fraudulent clients, chargebacks or spam signups will be suspended. OBHost determines fraud based on internal anti-abuse procedures.
- Affiliate accounts whose referrals perform chargebacks at rates exceeding industry norms (typically >2%) after the 45-day pending period may face suspension and clawback of paid commissions.
- Affiliates promoting adult content, hate speech, political extremism or illegal products while linking to OBHost will be terminated immediately.
To maintain program integrity and protect OBHost's brand, Affiliates must follow these linking and promotional guidelines.
You MAY
- Use graphic and text links on your website, blog or newsletter
- Promote OBHost in classified ads, magazines and newspapers (offline)
- Use OBHost-provided banners, graphics and promotional copy
- Create your own marketing materials (must be honest and non-misleading)
- Write honest reviews and comparisons of OBHost services
- Run your own PPC campaigns on non-brand keywords
- Share affiliate links on social media with proper disclosure
You MAY NOT
- Use PTC (pay-to-click), click exchanges or CPV traffic
- Use purchased traffic or bot-generated clicks
- Employ cookie stuffing or auto-click techniques
- Use redirected pages or cloaked links to pass referrals
- Forward a domain directly to OBHost with your affiliate link
- Bid on "OBHost", misspellings or trademark+ keywords on PPC (Google Ads, Bing, etc.)
- Send unsolicited emails (spam) promoting OBHost services
- It is the Affiliate's responsibility to ensure tracking codes function correctly before sending traffic. OBHost is not liable for lost commissions caused by broken, edited, masked, redirected or tampered affiliate links.
- Default cookie tracking duration is 90 days. First-click attribution is used — if a referral clicks multiple affiliate links before purchasing, the first affiliate receives credit.
- If OBHost determines that an Affiliate's promotional activity qualifies as spam, deception or trademark infringement, the account will be suspended with all unpaid commissions forfeited.
Affiliates promoting OBHost to US audiences must comply with US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines. Affiliates in other jurisdictions must follow equivalent local consumer disclosure laws (EU, UK, AU, etc.).
Required disclosure: Every page, post, video or social media message containing OBHost affiliate links must include a clear and conspicuous disclosure of the affiliate relationship. Disclosures must appear before the affiliate link, not buried in footers.
Example acceptable disclosures:
- "This post contains affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you."
- "Disclosure: I am an OBHost affiliate. This means I receive a commission when you sign up through my link."
- On social media:
#ad, #sponsored, or #affiliate hashtags prominently displayed.
Failure to disclose the affiliate relationship violates FTC regulations and OBHost's program policy. Such violations may result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
OBHost offers one of the industry's most competitive affiliate commission structures.

- Commissions are approved only from new and unique referred clients, or existing clients purchasing a new type of hosting service for the first time. In the latter case, commissions are valid for all services purchased during the 90-day cookie window.
- All confirmed affiliate income is held under pending supervision for up to 45 days until OBHost verifies the referrals. Commissions are then moved to Affiliate Earned Funds.
- For a commission to qualify, the referred client must maintain an active paid service for at least 30 days. Cancellations within 30 days result in commission reversal.
- Affiliate accounts must be in active, approved status at the time of the referral sale. Commissions are not earned during suspension or pending approval.
- Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. Purchasing services through your own affiliate link will not earn commission and may result in account suspension.
- Missing or untracked referrals must be reported within 45 days of the purchase. Each case is reviewed individually; OBHost reserves the final decision on attribution.
- Commission tiers may be offered for high-performing affiliates — contact the affiliate manager to discuss custom arrangements.
Chargeback clawback: If a referred customer initiates a chargeback, the corresponding commission is immediately reversed from the Affiliate's account — even if already paid out (deducted from future earnings).
- The Affiliate system operates exclusively in USD (US Dollars).
- Affiliate payments may be issued via the available payment gateways (PayPal, Wise, bank transfer) or converted to OBHost account credit for future service purchases.
- Minimum payout threshold is $50 in Affiliate Earned Funds. Balances below $50 roll over to the next month.
- Approved commissions are paid once a month, typically within the first 10 business days of the following month.
- Affiliates are responsible for maintaining accurate and current payment information. OBHost is not liable for lost payments resulting from inaccurate details.
- If payment details are incorrect or the payment gateway refuses the transaction, OBHost will attempt to reissue within 60 days. If correct details are not received within 120 days of commission generation, earned commissions will be forfeited.
- OBHost account credit conversions have no minimum threshold and are applied immediately upon request.
- Affiliates are solely responsible for all income taxes, self-employment taxes, sales taxes, VAT, GST or any other governmental fees or obligations in their country of residence or tax jurisdiction.
- US-based affiliates: If your total annual earnings exceed $600 USD, OBHost may issue an IRS Form 1099-NEC. US affiliates must provide a completed W-9 form before receiving payouts exceeding this threshold.
- Non-US affiliates: Must provide a W-8BEN (individual) or W-8BEN-E (entity) form to confirm non-US tax status and apply applicable treaty benefits (where available).
- OBHost may withhold payments in compliance with applicable tax regulations. Affiliates should consult a qualified tax advisor for their specific situation.
- Exchange rate fluctuations, wire transfer fees, and PayPal/payment processor fees are the responsibility of the Affiliate.
OBHost provides official logos, banners and promotional materials for Affiliate use. Use of brand assets is subject to the following guidelines:
- Official OBHost logos, banners and promotional graphics are available in the Affiliate resource library within your client area.
- The OBHost logo must not be modified, recoloured, stretched, cropped or animated in any way that distorts the original identity.
- Affiliates may not create the impression that they are an official OBHost employee, partner, or representative beyond being an affiliate.
- The OBHost name and logo may not be used as the primary branding of an Affiliate's website, business, or service.
- Price claims, feature comparisons or performance statistics must be accurate and current at the time of publication. Outdated claims must be corrected promptly.
- OBHost reserves the right to request the removal of any Affiliate promotional material deemed misleading, inappropriate or damaging to the brand.
- You have the right to cancel your Affiliate account at any time while keeping your active hosting service account intact. Submit a written cancellation request via the support ticket system.
- Affiliate accounts are linked to billing accounts. If a billing account is suspended or terminated due to breach of the Terms of Service, OBHost reserves the right to close the associated Affiliate account.
- Upon cancellation, any pending commissions (not yet moved to Earned Funds) are forfeited. Already-approved Earned Funds will be paid on the next regular payout cycle, subject to the $50 minimum threshold.
- Following Affiliate account closure, future sales from historical referral cookies will not generate commission.
- Commissions are paid on a monthly basis following the standard schedule.
- OBHost reserves the right to modify this Affiliate Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active Affiliates by email at least 30 days before taking effect.
- Continued participation in the Affiliate Program after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- OBHost may discontinue the Affiliate Program entirely with 90 days' notice. In such case, all approved Earned Funds will be paid out regardless of the $50 threshold.
- This Affiliate Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, consistent with the OBHost Terms of Service.
- Disputes between OBHost and an Affiliate shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures set out in the Terms of Service.
